Privacy and Authorization

Device Data and Access Commitment

Computer service can involve devices containing personal, financial and business information. 623 PC uses a practical authorization-first approach and limits access to what is reasonably needed for the approved work.

Home / Device Data and Access Commitment

Customer Authorization

Work is limited to the diagnosis, repair, migration, setup or support scope approved by the customer. Material changes in scope should be explained and approved before proceeding.

Credentials and Access

Customers should provide credentials only when necessary for approved work. Credentials should not be requested through unsecured public forms, and access should be limited to the service purpose.

Backups and Data Risk

Customers are encouraged to maintain current backups. Repair, malware, storage failure and operating-system work can involve data risk, and no service can guarantee that data will always be preserved or recovered.

Confidentiality and Disposal

Customer information should not be intentionally reviewed beyond what is needed to perform and verify approved work. Temporary copies and retired storage should be handled according to the agreed service and applicable obligations.
