🧠 Overview
Our Windows 11 Compatibility Checker is a small, user-friendly diagnostic tool designed to determine if your PC is eligible for Windows 11 — even if Microsoft’s default compatibility checker says otherwise.
Unlike Microsoft’s strict enforcement, our tool evaluates both official requirements and real-world upgrade paths that may still allow installation with custom configuration or technician support.
🔍 What the Compatibility Checker Analyzes
The tool performs a full scan of key system components using safe, read-only PowerShell commands. Below is a breakdown of each metric it checks:
1. CPU (Processor)
What it checks: Number of logical cores and clock speed.
Requirement: At least 2 cores running at 1.0 GHz or faster.
Why it matters: Ensures your system can handle the Windows 11 kernel and multitasking.
2. RAM (Memory)
What it checks: Total physical memory installed across all slots.
Requirement: Minimum of 4 GB.
Why it matters: Windows 11 needs enough memory to run background services and apps efficiently.
3. Storage
What it checks: Combined total of all internal fixed disks (e.g., SSD or HDD).
Requirement: Minimum of 64 GB free space.
Why it matters: Ensures there is room for Windows installation, updates, and recovery partition.
4. UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface)
What it checks: Whether your system is booting in UEFI mode (modern BIOS).
Requirement: UEFI boot mode must be enabled.
Why it matters: Legacy BIOS is not supported in official Windows 11 installation.
5. Secure Boot
What it checks: If Secure Boot is supported and enabled.
Requirement: Secure Boot must be enabled.
Why it matters: Protects your boot process from malware and rootkits.
6. TPM (Trusted Platform Module)
What it checks: Detects presence and version of TPM chip.
Requirement: TPM version 2.0 must be installed and active.
Why it matters: TPM provides hardware-based encryption, used by features like BitLocker and Windows Hello.
📋 Results & What They Mean
The tool categorizes your system into one of three statuses:
✅ Compatible – Ready for Windows 11
All critical requirements are met. – Proceed with Install or Upgrade
You can upgrade immediately through official or assisted channels.
⚠️ Missing Security Requirements – Upgrade Still Possible
Your system passes CPU, RAM, and storage checks.
But it lacks Secure Boot and/or TPM 2.0.
You may still upgrade via a custom installation with help from our technicians.
➕ Windows11Upgrade.net offers full installation services for these scenarios.
❌ Not Compatible – Major Requirements Missing
One or more of CPU, RAM, or storage is below the required threshold. – Windows will not install, if you do, it will not run correctly
In this case, an upgrade is not recommended unless you replace or upgrade hardware. – May be more cost effective to replace computer.
